Pre Season Recap

Welcome to all at the Hallam Football Netball Club for season 2017. After the improvement shown across all teams last year with the Seniors playing finals and the Reserves playing off in the Grand Final we are looking for further improvement in 2017 and once again make the finals and strive for that first Senior Premiership in our clubs 50th year.

Over summer we have had the luxury of again training at Hallam Secondary Collage which gives all players the opportunity to improve not only their skill sets but also work on their strength and conditioning in a high class facility. Thanks to Manny Peresso and Chris Miller for your efforts so far.

Attendance has been very strong with well over 120 players coming through our doors and we currently have over 90 registered male players. We have seen a number of new recruits arrive at the Hawks Nest which will strengthen our campaign across all grades. All going well Hallam will also field a Thirds team this year which helps give all players the opportunity to play for the Mighty Hawks.

The Seniors entered the inaugural SFNL Pre-season Seymour Law Cup competition and had a great result in round 1 with a solid 93 point win. Head down to Springvale Reserve each Wednesday night during March to watch the Seniors and keep an eye out for the Reserves, Thirds and 19's Practice Matches.

Our awesome club is continuing to grow. 2017 sees the inclusion of a Thirds team giving Hallam four Senior Male teams, our Female Seniors Football Team competing in a new SFNL Competition and for the first time ever we have Netball on board with two sides, giving around 150 players both male and female the chance to wear our colours with pride.

With a strong coaching panel in all football and netball sides, great medical team, hard working committee, awesome supporter base and last but not least a dedicated, hungry and committed playing group 2017 is shaping up as our strongest yet.

Go the Might Fighting Hawks!
