The Hallam Hawks Football Netball Club wishes to congratulate Tom Bradley, who will play in his 100th Senior match in the Club's Round 13 clash with Endeavour Hills at Barry Simon Reserve this weekend.
Since playing his first Senior game for the Hawks in April 2012, Teddy, as he is affectionately known, has been an integral part of our great Club, showing a fierce loyalty to his teammates and friends, and a willingness to improve and develop that has since seen him become a key part of our Senior forward structure as the Club looks to secure its maiden Senior Premiership in 2017.
Coming to the Hawks as a shy 17 year old, these days Tom is one of the few in our current playing group who has been at the Club since it's inaugural season, and has undoubtedly grown both as a player and as a person in that time.
A small forward who played his juniors for the Hallam Junior Football Club, Tom possesses rare foot skills, and has the pace and agility to find space & time with which to use them. Tom has provided many highlights in front of the goals to Hallam patrons over the years, but has since also added a work ethic and defensive pressure that has seen him spend time in the midfield in recent seasons.
Tom was a crucial part of the Hawks first ever finals campaign in 2016 which culminated with the Reserves making the Grand Final in that year. Tom has been a key part in seeing the Club move away from the significant losses in its early years, and he is to be commended on his impressive loyalty since then.
Tom joins Sean Gaitley and Andrew Daly in reaching the 100 game milestone this season.
Congratulations Teddy on reaching your milestone game, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for both you, and your teammates in the coming seasons.
